Friday, September 18
10:30 AM: Sandra will welcome guests at Gold Gate for a ceremonial Fair opening
4:00 PM: Sandra will visit The 1900 Rooftop Bar, returning to the same spot where she mixed up a cocktail for us on her show "Semi-Homemade Cooking with Sandra Lee". She'll be demonstrating live how to make her very special America250 cocktail!

Saturday, September 19
12:30 PM: Sandra will judge the Brown & Haley Adult-Child Sculpture Contest at Culinary Arts in the Pavilion
3:00 PM: Sandra will host the "Baking the Best Apple Pie" Cooking Demonstration with Q&A at Culinary Arts in the Pavilion

In the spring of 2015, Sandra was diagnosed with early-stage cancer and publicly documented her story. While undergoing aggressive treatment and the subsequent extensive complications, Sandra allowed unrestricted filming access. This decision was inspired by her obligation to educate others in taking an active role in their own healthcare, to provide caregivers with insight and tools for patient care and medical advocacy, and to influence lawmakers to pass legislation that provides no-cost insurance coverage and increased hours for screening accessibility. Sandra's open, uncensored communications have been acknowledged with several prestigious honors, including Capitol Hill's Congressional Families Excellence in Cancer Awareness Award, SUSAN G. KOMAN Surviving with Impact Award and City of Hope's Spirit of Life Award, presented to her by First Lady Dr. Jill Biden. 


With a commitment to service and philanthropy, Sandra has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the World's Largest Humanitarian Organization, Recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, The United Nations World Food Program. Additionally, Sandra serves on the Board of Directors of the Elton John Foundation and the White House Historical Society Committee. She is one of three founding board members of the Los Angeles chapter of UNICEF, where she has also served Internationally as UNICEF's Singular Nutrition Emissary.
