The 2025 Running of the Wieners is back!
11 am, Sunday, October 5th
At Oktoberfest Northwest 2025, don’t miss the wildly entertaining Running of the Wieners, an all-day dachshund extravaganza packed with races, contests, and plenty of tail-wagging fun! Starting at 11:00am with registration and check-in, the day features over ten race heats, crowd-favorite contests like Stupid Wiener Tricks, the Peanut Butter Lick Contest, and the always fashionable America’s Next Top Wiener costume show. Whether your pup is racing for glory, showing off their style, or licking their way to victory, there's something for every dachshund—and plenty of laughs for the audience. Don’t forget to catch the Wiener Dog Trivia Challenge happening throughout the day, with prizes just for playing along. The final race and awards cap off the event at 4:00pm, followed by open track time for those last laps of glory. Dachshund mixes welcome in select events—just be sure to check the contest rules.
