Open the same times as Oktoberfest

Grab a bier, and some friends, and join in the fun of free bar games at Oktoberfest NW. From Cornhole to Bier Pong, and, what you could call a PNW pastime - Hammerschlagen, there’s a game for all!

Cornhole

You've heard of toss, right? Well, in Cornhole you have a board with one hole in it that is placed several feet away from you. Then each player gets a chance to toss their colored bean bags to the board. You can earn certain points for making it in the hole and being on the board. It's really not that technical. If you haven't played before, we think you'll get the hang of it pretty fast.

Holey Boards

Also known as Washer Boards and similar to Cornhole toss, it all starts with a board, but this time it has three holes in it. Each player gets a chance to toss washers over to the board and you get certain points depending on which hole you make it in! Another fairly simple game for those who like a bit of fun. We think with a bier or two you'll become an expert in no time!

Bier Pong

This drinking game is pretty popular, so chances are you may have heard of this one. Cups are set up on either side of a long table and each player gets a chance to throw a ping pong ball in hopes of making it in the cups. Traditional rules call for each cup to be filled with beer, but we've got a setup for pros that uses water for sanitary and safety purposes.

Sports Haus

Sports fans, this one’s for you! The Sports Haus at Oktoberfest Northwest is your go-to spot to catch all the weekend action—right in the heart of the festival. Big-screen TVs will be showing the best games from the day. Grab a seat, order up an authentic German bier, and cheer on your team alongside fellow fans in a lively, beer hall-style atmosphere that blends the best of sports and Oktoberfest tradition.  Prost to touchdowns, goals, home runs—and good times!

Hammerschlagen®

The goal is to drive a nail into a cross section of wood before your opponents while using the narrow end of the hammer. Each player gets a turn, then to the next and so on until someone sinks the head of the nail flush. It is free to play and there are all-play games available throughout the weekend. If you become a pro at it, you could try joining the Hammerschlagen® Tournament of Champions. Learn More >

Or, if you're feeling more competitive, get your game face on and sign up for the Bavarian Bier-Lympics or the Stein Holding Competition.
