Join us on Thursday, November 6, from 4–6 p.m. as we partner with Emergency Food Network (EFN) to help support our Pierce County neighbors during the ongoing government shutdown and the lapse in SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits.
Where: VIP Lot — corner of Meridian & 9th Ave SW
What: Drive-through or walk-up food donation drop-off
Items that are most needed include: peanut butter, canned stews, canned meats, infant formula, baby food, diapers, canned fruits, and canned vegetables.
Why This Matters
With SNAP benefits paused, more families are turning to food banks and emergency programs for help. Emergency Food Network plays a vital role in keeping Pierce County fed. In 2024 alone EFN:
