Community Food Drive

November 6 - November 6, 2025
Presented By:

Join us on Thursday, November 6, from 4–6 p.m. as we partner with Emergency Food Network (EFN) to help support our Pierce County neighbors during the ongoing government shutdown and the lapse in SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits.

Where: VIP Lot — corner of Meridian & 9th Ave SW
What: Drive-through or walk-up food donation drop-off
Items that are most needed include: peanut butter, canned stews, canned meats, infant formula, baby food, diapers, canned fruits, and canned vegetables.

Why This Matters
With SNAP benefits paused, more families are turning to food banks and emergency programs for help. Emergency Food Network plays a vital role in keeping Pierce County fed. In 2024 alone EFN:

  • Distributed 13.8 million pounds of food to its 75 food pantry partners across Pierce County
  • Delivered 463,522 pounds of food through its Home Delivery Program
  • Collected the equivalent of 266,000 meals through Food & Fund Drives

EFN’s mission: To provide Pierce County with a consistent, diverse, and nutritious food supply so that no person goes hungry.
