The Puyallup Fair Hosts the Deadliest Catch Mates and “Deadliest Dinner”

Puyallup, WA – Sept. 10, 2009 – If you love Johnathan Hillstrand, the gutsy captain on Discovery Channel’s popular series, Deadliest Catch, then you are in luck! Captain Johnathan and Scott Hillstrand of Time Bandit on the Deadliest Catch will be at the Puyallup Fair Friday – Sunday, Sept. 18-20 from noon to 9 p.m. A fundraising event for the Puyallup Fair Foundation, the “Deadliest Dinner” will be held that Saturday evening, and tickets are still available at www.thefair.com. The Puyallup Fair runs Sept. 11-27th.

Guests can meet the Hillstrands all three days, and ask Captain Hillstrand how he manages to run a tight fishing ship on the Bering Sea. Meet and greets are available, complete with a chance to snap a photo of them and get their autograph. Time Bandit merchandise will also be available for sale. The Hillstrands will be at the intersection of Showplace Way and Grand Avenue all three days, with occasional breaks.

Tickets are still available for the “Deadliest Dinner,” where guests can get to know Captain Hillstrand and Scott up close and personal on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 6 p.m. Dinner attendees can ask questions and enter to win autographed Time Bandit merchandise. Tickets are $35 and include dinner (a choice of seafood or chicken) and gate admission ($11 value). Tickets can be purchased online at www.thefair.com. All proceeds from the dinner support the Puyallup Fair Foundation, helping educational causes.
