Students Mooove to the Podium at the State 4-H Fair
Puyallup, WA – Oct. 5, 2009 – Students participating in the State 4-H Fair are shining in the spotlight for their victories in the beef and dairy cattle competitions held at the 2009 Puyallup Fair. The winners of the contests are attached.
The 4-H age groups are separated as follows:
Juniors—Age 8 or 3rd grade through 5th grade
Intermediates—6th through 8th grades
Seniors—9th grade through age 18
The Puyallup Fair first started in 1900. This Pacific Northwest tradition is one of the top ten fairs in the world in attendance, and features big name entertainment, the PRCA Rodeo, rides, exhibits, food, flowers, and animals.
