State 4-H Fair Competitors are Awarded Top Honors at the Puyallup Fair

Puyallup, WA – Oct. 5, 2009 – The hours, sweat, joys, and frustrations of 4-H competitors boiled down to one final competition at the Puyallup Fair. The top entries in the State 4-H Fair have been decided and the results of the contests are attached.

• Dairy Judging
• Dairy Goat Judging
• Dog Judging
• Equine Judging
• Foods Judging
• Garden Judging
• Livestock Judging
• Rabbit Judging
• Sewing Judging

The 4-H age groups are separated as follows:

Juniors—Age 8 or 3rd grade through 5th grade
Intermediates—6th through 8th grade
Seniors—9th grade through age 18

The Puyallup Fair first started in 1900.
