Animals, Crafts, and Talents Battle for the State 4-H Title at the Puyallup Fair

 Puyallup, WA – Oct. 7, 2009 – Each year, the best 4-H competitors from counties around Washington State vie for the state title at the Puyallup Fair. What many may not know is that 4-H is full of categories beyond animals, including fashion, plants, mechanics, and more. Attached are the results for the categories listed below.

• Kitchen Activities
• Foods
• Photography
• Expressive Arts
• Public Presentation
• Swine Show

The 4-H age groups are separated as follows:
Juniors—Age 8 or 3rd grade through 5th grade
Intermediates—6th through 8th grades
Seniors—9th grade through age 18


 The Puyallup Fair first started in 1900.
