4-H Goat Competition Winners Decided at the Puyallup Fair
Puyallup, WA – Oct. 5, 2009 – There were goats galore as students in the State 4-H Fair, which is held at the Puyallup Fair, competed for first place. The winners are attached.
Participants competed in the following categories:
• Dairy goat
• Meat goat
• Novelty goat
• Pack/Utility goat
The 4-H age groups are separated as follows:
Juniors—Age 8 or 3rd grade through 5th grade
Intermediates—6th through 8th grades
Seniors—9th grade through age 18
