The Washington State WorkSource Office will begin accepting applications Wednesday, Aug. 6 to fill positions for the Puyallup Fair, Sept. 5-21. Opportunities include restaurant service, retail sales, ride operations, barn work and game booth operation.

Apply in person at the Fair's Washington State WorkSource Employment Office located at the Red Gate near the Sky Ride Station (9th Ave. SW near 4th St. SW). Weekday Hours: 8:30 am - noon & 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Qualified applicants must be at least 16 years of age and show picture ID and proof of legal right to work, such as security card or alien registration card.  Most jobs will pay minimum wage ($8.07/hour).  A total of 3,000 job openings will be available.
