This up-and-coming singer/songwriter continues to see bright days ahead. He not only became the only new country artist last year to have a #1 single with his massive hit, Small Town USA Moore was also proclaimed as Billboard’s New Country Artist of 2009” and The New York Times recognized his debut album as one of the best albums of 2009 in their The Year in the Arts list. His self-titled album was released in 2009, boasting nine songs he wrote, including Backwoods, Back That Thing Up, and Grandpa.
