Story Contest

Do you have a story about how you and your special someone met at the Puyallup Fair? Had your first date at the Puyallup Fair? Got engaged at the Puyallup Fair? Or maybe you shared your first kiss on the SkyRide or held hands on the Merry-Go-Round. In honor of Valentine's Day, tell us your "Perfect Pair at the Fair" story. If your romance involves the Fair in any way, we want to hear about it!

Here's what you could win:

• GRAND PRIZE:
  VIP Getaway to the 2010 Puyallup Fair, Sept. 10-26 - includes one night hotel stay for two in Puyallup, VIP transportation to the Fair, gate admission, concert tickets, food, and rides*
   
• SECOND PLACE:
  Two (2) gate admission to the Spring Fair in Puyallup, April 15-18 AND two (2) gate admission to the Puyallup Fair, Sept. 10-26
   
• THIRD PLACE:
  Two (2) gate admission to the Spring Fair in Puyallup, April 15-18

Here's what to do:

• Submit a type-written story of 500 words or less in Times New Roman, 12 point type, double spaced. Stories must be in Microsoft Word or PDF format.  
• Story must focus on how your romance involves the Fair in some way
• Must be written in English
• Each entry must begin with writer's name, address, day time phone, email address
• Must be 18 years of age or older to enter contest
• Enter no later than Feb 18, 2010
• Winners will be notified by March 15, 2010
