  Calling all singers, dancers and musicians! Don’t miss your chance to be a star! The Washington State Fair has partnered with Positive Programs to bring you the Catch a Rising Star Talent Competition. Solos, duos, trios and groups ages 5 through adult can enter for a chance to win $1000 in prizes in this fantastic competition!

  Come out and see a variety of performances, including NW Korean Dance, Fiji Community, Evergreen Chinese Academy, Thailand Cultural Group, Cambodian Dance Troupe of Tacoma, Vietnamese Traditional Dance, Laupama Methodist Youth, PAYO, and Okinawa Taiko and Hula!

  Come see a full orchestra and choir, along with local fire fighters, police officers, and dignitaries do a presentation in memory of 9/11.

  The Showplace Stage is located just to the south of Blue gate and features the Gothard Sisters, select youth music groups from Ted Brown Music Outreach, I Corps bands from JBLM, and local performing community groups. New this year the stage will showcase up and coming artists hosted by KMPS and The Wolf radio stations.
