Fairtime Transit Options
PIERCE TRANSIT FAIR EXPRESS BUS
Fares are set at Pierce Transit’s regular one-way rates of $2 for adults, $1.00 for seniors and youth ages 6 to 18 years, and free for age 5 and younger. Riders may use their ORCA card loaded with E-purse, an All Day Pass, or a September Monthly Pass for the service.

SPECIAL NEEDS RIDERS - PIERCE TRANSIT SHUTTLE
Specialized transportation is available for registered SHUTTLE customers. Call Pierce Transit at 253-581-8000, option 1, then 2, then 1, one to five days in advance to schedule your trip. SHUTTLE drops off and picks up in the Blue Gate parking lot at the Washington State Fair.To assist with Puyallup’s traffic control plan, Pierce Transit does not serve stops between 7th Ave & 15th Ave on Meridian except for Blue Gate service. Affected routes are route 4, 400, 402, and 425.
Starline Express - Saturdays
Catch the new Starline Express from three King County locations on Saturdays during the Fair! Easy transportation to the fair, night time concerts, the rodeo and more! No parking fees and get dropped off and picked up right at the front of the Blue Gate.
Departs every two hours starting at 8am from three King County locations: Kent, Auburn, and Federal Way with return trips running until 11pm. 2016 Starline Express Pick Up Locations:
The fun starts sooner when you take the train! Ride the Sounder train to the Washington State Fair in September on select Saturdays.
Trains will run on Saturday, Sept. 17 and Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016 serving nine stations from Everett to Puyallup. With the money you'll save on gas and parking, you can buy more scones and lemonade.
Boarding locations: Everett, Mukilteo, Edmonds, Seattle, Tukwila, Kent, Auburn & Sumner
Free connector bus to Fair - Pierce Transit will operate a connector bus from Puyallup Station to the Red Gate. Connector bus service is complimentary when either a Sounder train ticket or ORCA card is shown upon boarding. Or, it’s a quick and easy walk to the Fair, just 5 blocks away.
ORCA may help save money on train fare.
Year-Round Transit OptionsGet to the Washington State Fair Events Center in a breeze! These transit options are conveniently available year round, with direct service to Puyallup.
Pierce Transit’s Route 425 is a convenient way to get to the Washington State Fair Events Center. Direct transit service is available from downtown Puyallup and South Hill with trips seven days a week. Stops are located on Meridian to provide easy access to activities at the Washington State Fair Events Center. The Puyallup Connector is easily recognized with its Puyallup Connector logo.

Sound Transit Buses
Hop on the ST Express Bus via route #578, with service from Seattle to the Puyallup Station. The Puyallup Station is just a short five block walk to the Washington State Fair Events Center. Now offering service seven days a week!
