Have a talent you want to show off? Each year the Washington State Fair offers the chance to show off your creativity in a variety of competitive exhibits from baking, wine making, photography, art and more! You can win the bragging rights and cash prizes by entering your masterpiece in one of our many competitive departments.
To learn more about how to enter, download the Premium Book below in your category of interest. Premium Books are only available online. Due to the large size of these books, feel free to print only those pages pertaining to your interest.

2017 Washington State Fair Photo Salon
The Washington State Fair Photo Salon holds two photography exhibitions annually. Entry information for 2017 is not currently available, but will be posted as soon as possible. Please check back. Online entry registration for 2017 is expected to be open beginning April 24.

NEW option for submitting PROJECTED DIGITAL IMAGE entries to 2016 NWIEP:
AFTER completing your online entry registration, you may either burn images to CD and mail as outlined in the prospectus OR you may upload PROJECTED DIGITAL IMAGE entries ONLY via our Dropbox File Request. Entries for Print Divisions must be mailed.
Each uploaded image must correspond with a completed online entry registration. Uploaded images must comply with all rules as outlined in the prospectus, including file naming, image size, resolution, etc.
2017 Washington State Fair
Washington State Fair online entry registration will be open in May 2017. For entry details, please select your area of interest from the links below to download the premium book for that category.
The Washington State Fair (Sept. 1-24, 2017, closed Tuesdays) has open-class competition in the following categories. Premium Books for each department will be posted online as they become available, beginning after the first of the year.

In 2017 the FLORAL and AGRICULTURE/HORTICULTURE Departments (including Honey, Amateur Beer & Wine and Grange displays) will be housed in a tent structure located west of the Hobby Hall.
