Today, many children know woefully little about agriculture's role in their daily lives - where food comes from, what life on a farm is like, why it is important to have farms in our communities, etc.
the opportunity to experience the live animals and the agriculture education available to others. Consequently, teachers have said how important it is to bring the Traveling Farm to their students.A new, custom-built 48' semi offers a walk-through facility that features 14 museum-quality interactive exhibits to engage and educate young learners. Outside of the vehicle, children are able to interact with live farm animals, many for the first time. Experienced animal handlers teach the children about each animal they see, further enriching the child’s experience.
