Founder Recognition Wall

Founders Wall

From April, 2008, through December, 2009, the Puyallup Fair Foundation conducted a Founder’s fundraising campaign. This program allowed people with a passion for the Fair and the Foundation’s mission to step up and make a gift or pledge to get the Foundation off the ground and support its key projects.

Founders are those individuals who stepped up to get the new foundation off the ground by pledging at least $5,000. With gifts ranging from $5,000 to $250,000, the Founder’s campaign raised a grand total of just over $2 million!

In recognition of that generosity and faith, the Puyallup Fair Foundation has erected a Founder Recognition Wall on the grounds of the Puyallup Fair & Events Center. The stone wall, completed in September 2010, lists the names of the individuals, businesses, corporations, and area foundations whose contributions raised nearly $2 million dollars during the Founder’s campaign.

Look for the donor wall on the north side of the Americraft ShowPlex Building. It stands as proud testament to the faith of the Foundation’s founding friends and supporters for many years to come.

The donor wall itself, with a concept design by Teri Platt, was the beneficiary of the generous in-kind donations of many local businesses including Absher Construction, McGranahan Architects, Corliss Resources, AHBL, and Westmark Products, Inc.
