Puyallup Fair Foundation Scholarship Program

The Puyallup Fair Foundation Scholarship Program is committed to assisting Washington state students pursuing academic goals. The program provides local students with scholarships for continuing education and training. The program works closely with youth in the Puyallup Valley. Since the scholarship program’s inception in 1991, 230 students have received funds for higher education at colleges, universities and vocational technical schools totaling over $559,000.

The program is primarily supported by a Round-Up Dinner & Auction. The 12th annual Auction will take place Friday, August 13, 2010 at 6 pm.

The scholarship is open to students in grades 9-12 at Puyallup, Sumner, Rogers, Bonney Lake and Emerald Ridge High Schools. An annual amount of $1,250 will be awarded to the recipient of the winning essay. Non-winning students may re-apply in future years.
